This course reinforces and expands upon the introduction to the field of biological
anthropology received in Anthropology 102. Through a combination of lectures, reading
assignments, discussion, homework assignments, and laboratory projects, we conduct a
detailed examination of the biology, genetics, and evolution of humans, nonhuman primates
(monkeys, apes, and prosimians), and their ancestors. The prerequisite for this course
